This is a very special family, near and dear to my heart. You may recognize the young lady in the photos…my oldest daughter! This is the other part of her family…my ex-husband, his wife and their THREE boys (with beautiful blue eyes). My daughter has SIX siblings between the two families! One of the reasons we moved up to Virginia from Florida was so that Sariah could be closer to her Dad, Charlie. Charlie and I have always remained friends after our divorce which is a great blessing in a time when so many families are broken up and never speak to each other again. When Charlie remarried, I found a friend in his wife, Alice. She is beautiful, kind, smart and loving. I couldn’t have asked for a better “other” Mom to my daughter. Now that we are closer to Charlie, Alice and family, not only does my daughter get to see them all the time now, but my husband, children and I have grown closer to their family. I feel so blessed to be not only civil but FRIENDS with Charlie and Alice.
