My last Florida session from this past weekend…

Beth & Eric are two of the sweetest people I have met in a long time. They are completely down to earth and the type of people who would move Heaven and Earth for a friend. You can just feel how genuine and kind they are by being in their presence. We decided to shoot in the Princeton area of Orlando near the Science Center. I have always loved this little area but never got to do a session there while living in Florida so I’m glad I was able to do so this weekend. Beth and Eric are fun loving and obviously so in love which makes my job all the more amazing!

My very first session (of many) in Old Town was with Jennifer and Steve. They are a laid back, super nice, adorable couple with a sweet little pup who goes by the name of Petunia! We met on Sunday and I must say, the weather AND the company couldn’t have been nicer. Steve & Jennifer, I look forward to your wedding at the vineyards next year. Enjoy your sneak peek!

My last engagement session in Florida! I can’t believe I squeezed one in before we moved to Virginia and let me tell you, I lucked out! You’ll see for yourself but this is just an incredibly gorgeous couple and I was giddy with happiness to photograph them.

The story of Lauren and Noah is truly a fairytale. Born on the same day, just hours apart in the same hospital, they lived down the street from each other all their lives. They dated off and on through out the years and finally decided to be an official couple in March. Noah, being a “every girl’s dream” romantic, proposed to Lauren on the 4th of July with a STUNNING ring! These two are not only beautiful (like model beautiful) on the outside, but they have equally beautiful spirits about them. And to be in the presence of such a strong bond is amazing. How blessed I am to be their photographer…

Two things I love about being a photographer:
1. Meeting couples who are so in love and it’s evident whenever they look at one another
2. Meeting clients who truly understand the art in photography and are up for whatever I suggest during their session. They trust me and leave the artistic decisions up to me.

I was blessed to receive both of these on Saturday when I met up with Brian and Lauren for their engagement session. Engagement sessions by nature are very “lovey dovey” and I always feel the love radiating from each couple. This day was no exception. Whenever Lauren looked up at Brian and he glanced down at her, I saw that spark in their eyes. You know the one…the one that says “This is the person I am going to spend my life with.” I enjoy being in the company of love like this. It makes me giddy as a photographer. Then having chatted with Lauren before the session, I knew she trusted me as an artist and would trust me to create the most amazing photographs for them. It’s hard to explain how that feels but it tells me that I’m doing what God wants me to be doing with my life.

Brian and Lauren, you are both beautiful people inside and out. It was a pleasure spending time with you. Enjoy your sneak peeks!! The last shot is for your friend

I met up with Jenna & Eric in Downtown Orlando for their engagement session and we had a great time despite some chilly wind blowing through our hair.  They are a fun-loving, down-to earth, awesome couple and I canNOT wait to shoot their beachside wedding in April!  Might I add, Jenna has spectacular tastes in shoes
